About Dr. Davidson

Jennifer Davidson, OD takes pride in being a full-scope primary eye care doctor caring for all ages, from infants to adults. Dr. Davidson enjoys co-managing with ophthalmologists, rheumatologists, pediatricians, primary care physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals needed for you to live your best life while maintaining healthy vision. Dr. Davidson is passionate about the management of ocular disease and staying up to date with ever evolving long term ocular conditions secondary to systemic health, such as Lupus, ADD, ADHD, Thyroid dysfunction, Autoimmune Diseases, Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, Cancer Therapy, other medications and treatments, as well as many others. Dr. Davidson appreciates fitting specialty contact lenses for patients with Keratoconus, high prescriptions, dry eye, post-surgical, injured, diseased or scarred corneas.

Dr. Davidson spent extra time in school focusing on pediatrics, vision therapy, post-traumatic brain injury, and vision rehabilitation. She provides the essential time and care needed for her little patients and non-verbal. Vision Therapy improves the visual function for patients with eye turns, amblyopia, decreased vision, post-stroke or trauma-all crucial for school and leading a more comfortable life.

Over the years, she has provided services around the globe-an Indian Health Service in the Arctic Circle of rural Alaska, Buddhist monks in Myanmar, a children’s home in Mexico City, villages in Chennai, India, and research in Belize. She has published articles in magazines and journals sharing her knowledge on preventative eye care to children, adults, and fellow colleagues.

Dr. Davidson graduated from Northern Kentucky University in 2010 where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology and minor in chemistry with a focus in genetics, molecular, and microbiology research.

She graduated with her Doctor of Optometry Degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2016 while receiving honors in primary eye care and low vision rehabilitation.

Dr. Davidson resides in East Point with her husband Garrett and son Levi. They love to spend their weekends together outdoors with friends and family and traveling when time allows.
